RAMI KALLA BIO

(Owner/Producer)

Rami Kalla, Owner/Producer, has been involved in the film industry for over 15 years.

Rami graduated top of his class with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 1999. Rami started his career by producing short films and then in January of 2003, he started Point in Time Studios. He then quickly began to surround himself with the best talent in the industry. Rami is extremely involved in the local film community as he sits on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Production Association (the most prestigious film group in AZ). Rami is also on the Board for the Art Institute Phoenix (one of the top film institutions in the nation), the Peoria Unified School District as well as the Accelerator Entrepreneur Organization.

Rami has Produced/Directed a number of Television and Corporate Projects for such National clients as AOL, PetSmart, Ford and Hewlett-Packard. Rami is fluent in both English and Spanish.

RALPH LOPEZ BIO

(Chief Editor/Operations Manager – Phoenix)

Ralph Lopez graduated from the Art Institute of Phoenix (one of the nations top film and video institutions) at the top of his class in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree.  Ralph has received a number of awards including the Stanley Crosby Memorial Scholarship for Fine Art, Best Ai Portfolio 2005 and the 2004 Grand Prize for the NASA means business competition.

Ralph was hired by Point in Time Studios in 2005 and has been a standout in his field.  He has worked as Chief Editor and Lead Director of Cinematography for the last several years.  Ralph brings a unique creative vision to each project and is able to think on his feet and easily adapt to any situation.  Most of all, clients love working with him both on-set and in the editing room.

JAMES HOOVER BIO

(Business Development & Marketing)

James has worked for many years as an accomplished, high-level B2B sales development executive with a foundation in professional accounting and commercial finance.  His Marketing and Sales expertise  have been derived from a well-balanced combination of Fortune 500 corporate sales and entrepreneurial endeavors.  James has a proven  ability to build profitable relationships across multiple industries.  James’s technical business skills were developed through Big 8 public accounting, private accounting  management, commercial loan underwriting and equipment financing experience. James has been a great addition to the team.

MAT LIEN BIO

(Cinematographer)

Mat has been working with Point in Time Studios for the last 4 years.  Matt graduated from the Art Institute of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Filmmaking and has been active in the industry since 1997.  Mat is skilled as both a Production Coordinator as well as Cinematographer and Editor.  He has coordinated and produced a number of Multi-camera and Live Broadcast Productions.  Mat is extremely personable with clients and always provides a high-level of customer service.

AUSTIN NORDELL BIO

(Cinematographer/Operations Manager – LA)

Austin Nordell received a degree in Production from Scottsdale Community College. Over the course of his career, Austin has become a certified AVID Editor, 3 Day Film School Graduate, WGA member and traveled to Asia for an international Documentary Shoot.  As well as working on over 200 short films, Austin Nordell has garnered over 60 awards in the areas of Directing, Cinematography, Editing, Sound Design, and Visual Effects.  He has shot publicity material for state officials, created and showcased three film festivals (including The Deadly Event), became a board member of the APA, and has worked on over a dozen features.  Austin has worked with Point in Time Studios over the past 4 years.  From his artistic eye for cinematography, his ability to work under stressful situations and his strong customer service skills, Austin is an incredible addition to the team.

NICK CERVI BIO 

(Audio Engineer)

Nick started with Point in Time Studios in August 2010.  Nick has been a great asset as a Sound Engineer for on-location and studio productions.  Nick has studied Film Production at Arizona State University and held a production position at another leading Valley Advertising Agency.  Nick is very detailed oriented and is able to work on tight deadlines and in a variety of situations.

ADAM AL-HAKEEM BIO

(Lead Animator / Viz FX Artist)

Adam Al-Hakeem has worked with Point in Time Studios as the Lead Animator / Visual FX Artist for the past 6 years.  Adam has a diverse professional experience as a digital artist in various industries and media platforms such as international videos, military simulators, and video games. Adam brings to the table a wide range of visual abilities that include but not limited to motion graphics, visual effects, and 2D/3D animation.
