The 2 that I thought were really well done were the Budweiser and The Voice Commercials. DRAMA: The Budweiser Commercials, rather then going with the traditional goofy concepts, decided to try a more Cinematic approach. I though that they nailed it. The look and feel of their commercials looked like a Feature film with the old-fashioned, Prohibition era design, Musical Score and Talent. They spared no expense to re-create the setting from the buildings to the props and costume design. Very impressive. COMEDY: For Comedy, I would have to go with The Voice – Vocal Combat. This spot was hilarious. The stunts and special effects were extremely well done and the ending was classic. I hope that you enjoy watching all of the spots and we would love to hear your opinions posted here on our Blog as well. Thank you.
We all love online videos. With the advent of YouTube, the power of video has truly exploded! Many businesses have heard that they need online videos for their company, but many are not sure if there is any hard data to prove its effectiveness. Consider these Facts: SALES - Video now appears in 70% of the top 100 search result listings. - Viewers are 64% – 85% more likely to buy after watching a product video! - In a recent study, housewares e-tailer StacksAndStacks.com reported that visitors were 144% more likely to purchase after seeing a product video vs. those who did not. BRAND AWARENESS - Online Videos result in a 100% more favorable view of the brand with a 73% higher chance for recommending it and a 37% increase in likelihood that they would visit again. (study by Eyeview) QUALITY Many studies also clearly explain that they are referring to QUALITY Videos. Not something that your Uncle Bob shot with his flip-cam and flashlight. Your videos should be an extension of your brand and look sharp. A bad looking video is like wearing an Armani suit with sneakers! So why would you do this with your brand? Of course we would like for to hire Point in Time Studios for your next Video Project. However, regardless of who you hire, do your due diligence and don’t just hire based on price. Make sure that they have a proven track record and can deliver a high-quality product. Rami Kalla Point in Time Studios Reference: ( http://blog.kissmetrics.com/product-videos-conversion/)

We just wrapped filming yesterday on the New 2012 Valley Golf Center Television Commercial Shoot. Check out the Productions Stills: It was the second time that we used our new Camera Jib and it worked awesome. It definitely adds another element to our production. We also used our 12′x12′ Butterfly and bounce boards for all of the outdoor shots. We are really happy with the footage that we captured and we are confident that the client will be as well. Producing Valley Golf Centers 2nd Commercial was quite an honor as we produced their 1st Commercial as well, almost 3 years ago to the date. It had a very successful 3 year run on COX and it was now time to create a new one. This shoot was also very important as the original owner, Kevin O’Connell, passed away only a few months ago and I know that he would be proud of how his business is being run by Tim Farrell and his team. We will post the final commercial once it is all done. Happy New Year! Rami Kalla Point in Time Studios

Preparing for the shoot was a little hectic, but we pulled it off. The whole goal was to surprise the winner of the Kids Star USA contest, Kianna, by pretending to be with a local News Station doing a “Day in the Life” piece. This way, we would throw her off from the big surprise – that she actually won and that Kris Allen was there to congratulate her. This was a very big day for Kianna and a great start to her music career. We did a 3-camera HD shoot using a Master Series SteadiCam. Everything went extremely well and the client was very happy. Kris Allen was amazing to work with and is extremely talented. Once we have the finished edit available, we will post it on our blog. ’till then… Thank you. Point in Time Studios

We all suffered a great loss yesterday with the passing of Steve Jobs. Everyone knew him as an Innovator of all that is electronic and creative. Of course, he will be remembered for what he contributed with the iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc. But for creative professionals, such as ourselves, he was much more than that. When I left my career at General Mills 9 years ago to begin Point in Time Studios, my first purchase was a G4 Mac Computer. This was the start of it all. I knew that with that Mac in my hand, I could go on to be the creative person that I always dreamed. It was an exciting moment. Steve Jobs made the tools attainable for aspiring creatives. Up until that point, if you wanted to be a filmmaker, you would have to purchase equipment and software worth tens of thousands of dollars. But with Final Cut Pro and a Mac computer, you could do just about anything, at a reasonable budget. If it wasn’t for Steve Jobs, I don’t know that I would have had the guts to go out on my own and start my company almost 9 years ago. He made that possible and I am eternally grateful. You will be sorely missed. Rami Kalla President Point in Time Studios
